TO5Ritchie – Systematic Risk-Scanning

Systematic Risk Scanning

Systematic Risk Scanning (SRS) is a structured approach to identifying risks in an operation. SRS is the first (identification) phase of the risk cycle (identify, assess, treat and control). The SRS approach aids the identification of risks specific to the organization, risks in the sector (systematic risks) and more broadly risks inherent in the macro-environment (systemic risks). It combines an understanding of previous risk cycles and considers the residual risks being controlled within the operation.
